Your Independent Future
We are a semi-independent provider of support and accommodation services for young people at risk between the ages of 16 to 21 years old. Our services covers London and the South East of England. Our goal is to help integrate young people at risk back into the community. We achieve this by providing a safe place to live, think and be at peace. We keep all or residents active and involved with our Life-curriculum and Leadership courses, while supporting independence throughout the young person's stay at GSS. We offer a wide range of facilities and services to manage the challenges and promote the joy of a young person living in the UK.
Efficiency
We are highly efficient in what we do, therefore able to turnaround a new referral within a matter of hours.
Discretion
Each young person has a care plan that is tailored to their unique needs. Cases are treated with the outmost confidentiality.
Dependability
Our service users can depend on us to keep them safe and secure, whilst working closely with multiagency partners such as the council, the police, social workers and the educational institutions to provide and maintain clear communication and transparency.
GSS SUPPORT PROGRAMME
At GSS we are intentional in supporting young people by providing individual programmes and services through initial assessment to identify the young persons talent, interests and learning styles.
LIFE PROGRAMME
An opportunity to master the art of independence.
There comes a point in everyone’s life when they have to be able to take care of themselves. This programme is designed to equip young people with the ability to problem solve, work as part of a team and use their own initiative, harness organisation and time management skills and encourage extra curricular activities such as sports, performing arts, computer coding etc.
SEMI-INDEPENDENT LIVING
Extra Support Provided
Young people at risk require some degree of health and well-being monitoring. Our service provides complimentary and customizable semi-independent Living services for all our young people. By catering to the personal needs of each young person, we go just one step further to make them feel like they’re truly at home at GSS. We ensure that young people who come into our provisions see evidential growth when they eventually leave us. We support a diverse range of young people in making independent choices, setting and achieving their goals and realising their full potential.
